1. Call to Action at First Glance and Centered
Make secondary tasks available through menus or “above the fold” (the part of the webpage that is visible without needing to scroll down).
2. Simple and User-Friendly Menus
Mobile users do not have the patience to scroll through a long list of options to find what they are looking for. Reorganize the menu to use as few items as possible, without sacrificing usability.
3. Make It Easy to Return to the Home Page
Users expect to return to the main page when they tap the logo placed in the upper-left corner of the mobile screen. They become frustrated when this option is not available or does not work.
4. Do Not Let Promotions Take Too Much Attention
Full-page promotions that hide content — for example, asking users to install an app — annoy users and make it difficult to complete tasks.
Promotions should remain fixed at the top without disturbing users. Websites that try to highlight promotions over content do not pass Google’s mobile optimization standards, which can negatively affect search rankings.
