A company must be present where its customer is and adapt to them. Through technology and a multichannel presence, it has the opportunity to communicate with customers and meet their needs.

A customer plans their trip using multiple devices, comparing prices, gathering opinions on social media — but above all, what they want is to live an experience. Tourism companies must be there; otherwise, they do not exist in the eyes of the new customer. They must be social (present on social media), local (to reach customers at their destination), and mobile (due to the widespread use of smartphones).

What tourists enjoy most is taking photos at the hotel, restaurant, or place of interest and sharing them on their social networks.

Being able to manage this flood of information allows companies to identify customer preferences and anticipate their decisions in order to adapt their products and services accordingly.
